Kim successfully and perpetually develops all Financial and Strategic Planning initiatives at HSC. She has experience with supervising progress reports, gross profits, strength in our G&A, cash flow analysis, preparing budgets, reconciliation of accounts, tax reporting, monitoring expenditures, procuring additional insurance policies and bonds for projects, fixed asset schedules, analyzing and reporting on financial data, and overseeing all banking operations at HSC.
Kim’s risk management experience consists of contractual negotiations with owners, clients, and subcontractors, guiding the captive insurance program, supporting the subcontractor default insurance program, managing pre-qualification of our subcontractors, and directing all legal and claims management.
Kim closely collaborates with our safety team on various projects to develop risk profiles, which ensures an OSHA-compliant worksite. She identifies specific training needs, validates compliance with owners’ contractual requirements, and fully integrates with clients’ health and safety programs. She manages and guides our safety team, helping to train and mentor its future leaders.
Kim’s education and affiliation include a B.S. Degree in Accounting and serving as the former President of Mid-Atlantic Construction Safety Council, along with being its current treasurer. She is a member of the CFMA, and an accredited Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS), maintaining this designation through required annual courses. Additionally, she has a Contract Management certificate from Villanova University, OHSA 30 training, and First Aid CPR/AED.
