Penn Medicine Interventional Support Center
Philadelphia, PAHSC aided in the design & constructed an Interventional Support Center for Penn Medicine, the 4th facility of it’s kind in the country. This 112,000 SF offsite processing center reprocesses healthcare instruments in a high quality, cost-effective manner. The scope of this project included air-lock vestibules, 10 sterilizers, 14 triple bowl sinks, Getinge, Cart/ tray washers, bio incubators for QC, RFD Chips / Automated storage. Intricate mechanical & electrical infrastructure was a large part of this project, which included fully redundant electrical upgrades, new water lines, clean steam for sterilizers, new boilers, chillers, AHU’s, Fire suppression and a RO water system.
