GBCA Construction Excellence Award for Princeton Frist

We’re proud to share that the Frist Health Center at Princeton University has received a Construction Excellence Award in Building Transformation & Preservation from the General Building Contractors Association (GBCA).

This project showcases what can be achieved when a unified team combines vision, technical skills, and strong collaboration in a complex campus setting. Working with Princeton Facilities and our outstanding project partners WRNS Studio, Thornton Tomasetti, VHB, Field Operations, Interface Engineering, Nitsch Engineering, and many others, we transformed the historic Eno Hall into a high-performance, student-centered health facility.

Blending adaptive reuse with advanced systems, including radiant heating and cooling, a hybrid steel and mass timber structure, green roofs, and the indoor Isabella McCosh garden, the project required precision, logistics coordination in a dense campus core, and craftsmanship across every discipline.

This award is a testament to the dedication of our project team, from preconstruction to execution and through close-out, who navigated complexity with care, coordination, and a commitment to excellence.
