Princeton University Museum Fire Suppression

Princeton, New Jersey

The improvements in the university’s museum included a Simplex Grinnell fire alarm system upgrade with an updated clean agent fire suppression system, and improved exit signage and emergency lighting systems. With the priceless artifacts dating from B.C. to 500 A.D., the renovations within this space were in no way ordinary. Close coordination was essential with the outside exhibit consultant to protect and transport the valuable contents. HSC conducted precise “to the minute” coordination with the owner’s staff to minimize any risk that may affect the exhibits, artifacts, and art.
