The multi-phase HVAC project upgraded air handling equipment and controls. Scope involved replacement of eleven existing units with six new units and refurbishment of four existing AHUs. Reheat coils and controls were replaced throughout buildings, a new heat exchanger and pumps were installed, and all ductwork and perimeter radiation was cleaned. Coordination efforts were key to the success of this multi-phased project. The project finished ahead of schedule while maintaining limited disruption to staff, faculty, and students as well as sensitive areas requiring special care such as the Kislak Rare Book Area.
