Paoli Hospital Patient Pavilion

The new 282,400sf Patient Care Pavilion houses a new 32-bed Emergency Department, Operating Room suite & related support facilities, 77 In-patient beds, and central sterile supply. The new 15,600sf arrival/departure pavilion features a 4-story atrium. The project was constructed over a two-year period and completed on-time and within budget. The project team persevered through the winter while installing the skin and incorporated more than a thousand changes during construction. Meeting the completion date was critical to the end users. At the peak of construction, the daily work force reached 340 workers. For more than a year, the workforce was consistently over 250 workers. HSC has been a part of ongoing projects at Paoli Hospital since 1988.
